The Power of Financial Goals. Goal #36: Done!

2026-06-12

Recently, I crossed out goal #36 from my list of 100 goals.

The goal was simple to describe but difficult to achieve: I wanted a certain amount of money to hit my bank account within a single month. At the time, it felt almost impossible. The number seemed far away, and I wasn’t sure if it would ever happen.

As time passed, I stopped thinking about it. In fact, I completely forgot that this goal was still on my list.

Then, unexpectedly, everything came together in the same month. I received my regular salary, my yearly bonus, and some money from investments came back as well.

One day, I looked at my finances and realized something surprising: the total amount of money that had come into my bank account that month was enough to complete the goal.

It reminded me that goals sometimes take longer than expected, and progress is not always obvious while it is happening. Sometimes you keep moving forward, and then one day you realize you have already reached a milestone that once seemed impossible.

Lately, I have been very focused on financial goals and improving my financial knowledge. If you are interested in personal finance, I highly recommend checking out Ramit Sethi’s YouTube channel. His content offers practical advice on money, spending, investing, and building a rich life.

Another goal crossed off. On to the next one.
