I recently completed my 6th goal from my list of 100 goals: a 30-day no sugar, no flour detox. It was a challenging but rewarding experience.
For 30 days, I avoided all foods with sugar and flour. At first, it was difficult. Sugar and flour are in many common foods, and I had to change my eating habits. But as the days went by, it became easier.
The results were awesome. I lost a couple of kilos, which made me feel lighter and healthier. More importantly, my overall health and energy levels improved significantly. I felt more energetic and less tired throughout the day.
Now that the challenge is over, I plan to keep up with this healthy eating approach. I may not avoid sugar and flour completely, but I will reduce them by about 80%. This way, I can maintain my health and energy while still enjoying some of my favorite foods.
Completing this goal has motivated me to continue working towards my other goals. It’s a reminder that with determination and effort, I can achieve anything I set my mind to.
