Crossing Out Goal #21: Reading 10 Pages a Day for 1 Year

2025-03-16

This was the biggest goal I’ve crossed out so far! And honestly? It was hard. Sticking to a daily habit for an entire year was way more challenging than I expected. I failed many times, had to restart from day one over and over again, but finally—after 365 days—I did it!

Why I Took on This Challenge

In 2023, I only read seven books, which felt like a huge drop compared to my usual reading habits. I really wanted to get back on track, so I decided to make it simple: just 10 pages a day. It sounded easy at first, but remembering to do it every day was a whole different story.

What I Gained from This Challenge

During this year, I ended up reading around 20 books, and—more importantly—I fell in love with reading again. It became part of my daily routine, something I looked forward to instead of something I had to do.

What’s Next?

Even though the challenge is officially over, I’ve kept the habit going. I read every day, not just because of the goal, but because I genuinely enjoy it now.

This challenge reminded me that progress isn’t about perfection—it’s about persistence. You fall, you start again, and eventually, you get there.

And just like that, another goal checked off—but the journey doesn’t stop here! 📖✨
